Becky McCormack is the Vice-President of the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of South Carolina in Columbia, South Carolina. Becky began her insurance career in 1984 after graduating from the University of South Carolina with a double major in Insurance and Economic Security and Business Management. Before joining IIABSC in September 1996, Becky’s background included agency and broker experience, as well as eight years as a Commercial Lines Underwriter and Marketing Representative for The Travelers Insurance Company. Becky instructs a variety of insurance continuing education seminars including all of the Certified Insurance Services Representative (CISR) modules, Accredited Advisor in Insurance (AAI) seminars and the Dynamics of Service seminar. She currently serves as the Chairperson of the SC Continuing Education Advisory Board for the SC Department of Insurance.
Becky holds the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Accredited Advisor in Insurance (AIA) and Certified Professional Insurance Women (CPIW) designations.
Becky lives in Chapin, SC with her husband Jeff. They have one daughter, Claire, who is an insurance agent in Hilton Head, SC.
